How to beat post-travel blues

How to beat post-travel blues

we've all been there, after coming back from a life changing trip, excited to see family but not ready to get back to normal life. Though out my travels I have found a few bongs that really help me get over my post-travel blues!

1. Get together with friends and family- Everyone will be excited to see you, talk about your trip nd maybe see some pictures! It's a great way to get back in the swing of things and reminisce about your trip at the same time!

2. Make a video- if you have lots of spare time and are wondering what to do with it, make a video out of all your clips from the trip it will be fun looking at all the videos separate and you'll feel very accomplished once you can watch your final project!

3. Keep yourself occupied- this one seems very obvious and the ideas so far are all keeping yourself occupied, but I mean occupy yourself in small ways. For example play board games with your family or friends, read a book, paint something, or if you aren't good sit down and just try painting something, who knows you might love it! Even watching some of your favourite tv shows are a good way to slowly get over your post travel- blues

4. Bake- baking for me is very calming and really fun I love to browse Pinterest until I'm so hungry that I have to make a recipe that I've found! It can be quite time consuming, fun and you get a sweet treat when you are done!

5. Take another small trip- this may sound ridiculous but I'm talking about something small like going camping somewhere close to home or going and visiting grandparents or parents for a couple days. It can really help with filling time and it's so fun!

6. Feel upset- something that you have to do when it comes to getting over something is let yourself feel sad or upset. Cry if you want to let yourself really feel what your body is feeling and you'll get over it quicker. And be glad that you're feeling sad that it's over because it obviously means that it was an amazing trip that you'll never forget!

I know this may seem silly but I personally get major post-travel blues, I never know what to do once I'm home and feel sad that I'm not traveling anymore but these things seriously help and I hope now they can help you!
